MEALS.

Eating out is one of the greatest pleasures in life, particularly in the Auvergne. You can enjoy the local dishes in a very wide variety of restaurants from small family run inns to gastronomic restaurants with highly qualified chefs. Here again the prices compare very favourably with those in England. You can savour the delights of the region at prices as low as £6 per person ranging up to £20 or more. If you wish to visit a restaurant but do not want to drive, we can arrange transport. We do not quote a full or half-board price because we feel it would be a pity for you to come to the Auvergne without sampling these excellent restaurants however we can provide an evening meal for 14€ per head, consisting of an entrée, a main course, cheese (local), dessert and coffee or tea. We will even provide you with a complimentary carafe of wine. We are licensed to serve beers and wines to our customers. If you require an evening meal on arrival, this must be booked in advance. Meals on subsequent days may be booked at breakfast time.

We also have a corner kitchen area in our dining room. This is available from April to October only. Clients may use this to prepare something to eat themselves, if they prefer.
